I loved Belle's wedding outfit, lol. That hat was adorable.

"I said a few weeks ago that Hook has turned into the heart of this show, and all of his loyalty, bravery, and devotion to Emma finally paid off for him this episode. He was even jealous of his own past self making out with her. All he had to do was trade his beloved boat for her, with a little waltzing thrown in. It

It was a surprise for me, but I think that was more due to external circumstances. I had the Frozen thing spoiled, so I spent the whole episode thinking she was going to be revealed to be Anna or Elsa, and thus was caught off guard when it was actually Robby's wife.

I didn't care for how it all resolved so… treacly, but I didn't mind the episode, and I liked that it actually had more continuity than most. Sam's speech was well-deserved after all the character assassination he's gone through over the years, and it was nice that Glee actually acknowledged something that happened

I don't know if we were really supposed to feel sorry for her, exactly. My impression from the scene was just that we're supposed to be seeing that Rachel is getting it — that she's realizing the woman was right.

Yeah, seriously. The reviewer's constant like, thinly-veiled hatred for Kurt is getting to be a bit much.

"I've come to the (possibly ridiculously belated) that Glee's writers haven't the first clue what to do with their show following Cory Monteith's demise."

lol well someone's clearly a hook stan

Yeah, I always hate those plot developments where it's like, the villain tells someone their evil plan and how they will play a part in it, and then that person doesn't just go and tell the rest of their crew what happened. Like, that would be the logical thing to do, but writers always try and mine the "he won't tell

Yeah, I thought that was going to be a thing, that both Snow and Regina wouldn't be able to go through but Charming would. But they kind of handwaved this by having Glinda make it be about intentions more than anything else (saying Regina couldn't enter because she was vengeful)

I am weirdly rooting for Craig and Jean-Ralphio to get together.

Well, you're probably right. To be honest I don't care about Blaine at all to try and get a handle on his characterization whiplashes between seasons/episodes. But after this episode, to me at least, it seemed to reframe the past incident more clearly. But I could be giving Glee too much credit.

Well the power dynamics thing kind of had precedent (tho it wasn't vocalized like it was in this ep). Like, when Blaine cheated on Kurt, that was pretty much his justification. That Kurt was in New York and didn't /need/ Blaine and so Blaine had sex with some random guy because he was feeling insecure. That moment was

I don't know. To me that moment kind of just sounded like enforcing heteronormative (and sexist) gender roles on queer relationships? Like, that it has to be a contest between men/women in a relationship is an often expressed concept. A man has to be a provider, a woman has to be passive, etc. If the woman isn't then

"I have this recurring panic attack every time I think that Glee might decide to address rape"

All of the romances in this show are pretty gross when you stop to think about it. Like, Hook was with Neil's mom, Henry's grandmother, and now want's to sleep with the love of Neil's life (who he was a father figure to).

"In one kingdom in the Enchanted Forest, Prince Henry is the son of King Xavier, and is fifth in line to the throne. One day in the castle, he and his father are entertaining a northern princess, Princess Eva, who has come for a visit. He encounters Cora, a lowly daughter of a miller delivering flour. Cora is

Well, I don't think it was being "special" enough, necessarily. Regina was actually born into royalty (her dad was a prince). It's likely that Zelena's father was just some random peasant dude and thus would've been much more difficult on the path to queendom.

I don't know about America. But in my town we have a sawmill and it pays over double minimum wage an hour. Presumably the only summer between graduating and going to college, I could see that being an attractive offer for some.

OH, she said mops? I thought she said moths. Which like made no sense, yet still seemed weirdly April enough.
