It’s been an 8+ year process, but Trump is the result of a careful propaganda campaign of fear, paranoia, and conspiracy peddling.
Not a trump thumper, but I think “my business has ties to Saudi Arabian businessmen” and “my campaign gets millions of dollars in donations from Saudi Arabia” might be a little different. I suppose it depends on how you want to look at it. And who you hate more.
