Fair enough but I get mad at how high the prices have come in the last 3 years and non-beat ones are hard to find, at least in the north east. Also e46 M3s are like 3400 lbs and caymans are legit sub 3000 lb cars, and to me that makes all the difference. That S54 tho... drool

Fun fact on the 996tt: most reviewers (like, the professional magazine kind) say the k16 turbo X-50 equipped cars (including the Turbo S) are inferior to the base turbo ones due to annoying turbo lag and more peaky power. That being said, I’d still buy the shit out of that one and tune the lag out.

Personally, I’d get an ‘06, ‘07, or ‘08 S manual with 50-70k miles in the $23k range. The facelifted 2009s look great and have 15 extra horsepower but I don’t think that and direct injection make them worth the $10k premium they seem to have.
