We should just be able to S54 all the things

Less than 1%, according to the research from the suit vs Porsche of NA.

Fair enough but I get mad at how high the prices have come in the last 3 years and non-beat ones are hard to find, at least in the north east. Also e46 M3s are like 3400 lbs and caymans are legit sub 3000 lb cars, and to me that makes all the difference. That S54 tho... drool

You mention the bra, but not the CHROMED 993 twists?

No, but I’d like to!

OMFG i just realized that car has DOVE interior.

ABORT! ABORT!

Fun fact on the 996tt: most reviewers (like, the professional magazine kind) say the k16 turbo X-50 equipped cars (including the Turbo S) are inferior to the base turbo ones due to annoying turbo lag and more peaky power. That being said, I’d still buy the shit out of that one and tune the lag out.

Personally, I’d get an ‘06, ‘07, or ‘08 S manual with 50-70k miles in the $23k range. The facelifted 2009s look great and have 15 extra horsepower but I don’t think that and direct injection make them worth the $10k premium they seem to have.

Ah, gotcha. Haha, to me the phrase mean “I didn’t do this myself” hahaha

I think you might find, and appreciate a lot of joy in a 3.4 987. Coupe or spyder.

?I mean I paid $10k for the car.

Boxster or Cayman?

Yessir!

hmmm. Really good questions. Well, they are an honest to god 2900 lb car, so that has to help. The S would definitely be the way to go, it has bigger brakes, a center oil cooler and stiffer springs/ struts. Boxsters Ss are famous for their lack of brake fade and awesome stopping ability. And there is a huge following

My GF drove the shit out of mine with me.

Nah, I hear you man. But from what you described, I can’t think of a better car than a Boxster. Get a 2009+ base model for the same price as an ND and you have a car thats roomier, has much, much more room (frunk and trunk!). You don’t even have to get an S and you’ll still have more power and better handling than an

Or dis, DSG baby

Solid 911 cabs are $20k. Solid boxster S’s are $12k, and the S handles better and has less cowl shake. Now I would say early 996 coupe 6spd for $16k is a better deal than Boxster S, but def not a cab.

Also, I did have to buy new tires and did a full, real-deal paint correction, but that’s stuff you can obviously know about going into it.

Other issues to look out for: convertible top replaced with a nice glass-window one, convertible top fit, convertible to alignment, convertible top transmission arms, fortunately
