Wow, I guess they must be chuffed the training simulations actually work out in real life...

Man, another thing that Dan Wheldon was actively helping with and now obviously won't be anymore...how depressing.

Yeah, I flew on one of United's 777s recently too...

Ok, regardless of the motivations and actions and behaviour of the protestors in this situation, there is no justification for the police officer to do that.

ghost 'chups', if you really want to blend in as a local...

Go away...Spoon!...Space head...

Does this remind anyone else of when those ads came out for flexible glasses frames...? Cue people going into opiticians and going 'bend'.."Ooh!"..'bend;..."Ooh!"...'beeeeeend-*SNAP*...ohshitrun!....

I think I know what the text might say...

I'm quite looking forward to this... Of the places I tend to be travelling to, when I go to the US, this'll certainly be the closest 'track' to see a race at.

Hard to say based on these shots, as in each one the lighting seems to be 90 degrees off the one it's comparing too; backlighting with specular highlights reflecting off the track is always going to look more impressive then a flatter lighting from the side or behind...However...The texture mapping of the ground on

I think you hit it on the head in the last paragraph...It'd be more for a looser group of friends (where there's always one who never seems to buy the drinks), than a super-close bunch. Even so, I think trying to introduce this into a larger group might need some pretty skilful diplomacy.

'Just driven by one little old lady, you say...?'

That's pretty cool, but was anyone else also a little disappointed that the models weren't a little more, um, 3-Dimensional...?

When I'm touching cloth, nature's call is the only one I care about answering...
