What the hell kind of cop doesn’t know CPR?!

I know how you feel. Its great to have my radio around, but sometimes it just won’t shut up! And don’t even get me started on my cantankerous vacuum.

This is all I see when I look at Paul Ryan’s stupid mug:

Mine finally got to a place where I don’t have to refer to them as bangs anymore, and now I keep catching myself wanting to cut them again. HELP!

That koala show was always on at naptime, and I was pissed! I’m glad you mentioned it, because those memories are so blurry, I wasn’t sure if I made that show up!

Clearly, the cat is out of the bag when it comes to how cool Portland is. There’s a reason that everyone seems to be moving here. I have heard that people are moving here at a rate of 150 A DAY (don’t ask for the citation, I don’t have it, and don’t know how accurate it is, but it seems possible). It’s awesome here in

It sounds like you are doing your best to be supportive, and I’m sure your wife appreciates it, even if she has a hard time expressing it. If she isn’t in a place where she’s willing to go to therapy right now, and doesn’t want you talking to friends about your situation, it sounds like therapy might be a good option

So, just throwing this out there, but I like your comments! I’ve been reading Jez for a while, and just fairly recently have been using this burner account to comment here and there, but I’ve really gotten sucked into reading the comment section. Sometimes it’s horrendous, but when I see you posting, or FP, or

Once I was buying a pregnancy test at Rite Aid (side note: was hoping NOT to be pregnant, and wasn’t), and the guy behind the counter said “Good thing or a bad thing?” I wish I had called him out at the time, because in my head I was thinking “Did that shit really just come out of his mouth?!”, but I was so caught

When I saw the header image on the main page with my peripheral vision, I thought (and hoped) it was about these guys:

Oh man, I still get a little teary when they show replays of that buzzer beater or Dame yelling “RIP CITAYYYYYYYYY”. And yes, that photo of Wes was adorable and heartbreaking. Obviously we may sound just a touch biased when we say we have the best fans, but the last time I watched us play the Lakers on national TV,

YES! I almost cried when I saw him in that damn bowtie. I am quite the emotional fan in general though. I was at the game when he got injured, and just kept expecting him to bounce back on to the court like he always does. Watched that sad playoff game last night while sipping beer from a frosty Wesley glass. Trying

As a fellow Blazer fan, I had the same reaction. Rip City!

My boyfriend was going about his day, and couldn't realize why it hurt him to walk. Lo and behold, he takes off his shoes and socks at the end of the day and discovers one of my long hairs strangling his pinky toe. Oops. :/

Yes, I hear what you're saying. You definitely want to do a slow transition (which I tried, but not slow enough). I wasn't trying to call you out, I just wanted to mention my circumstances because I thought, "oh, he'll eat it. He loves food! He just needs to want it more." And he apparently would have rather died than

"If your cat walks away from its normal food because you temporarily fed it something it thinks is more delicious ... let it. It'll come back when it's hungry. It's not going to starve to death."

What would you consider to be proper tipping etiquette for to-go orders? I think tipping is really important, but I also understand why one wouldn't tip 15-20% for food that doesn't involve table service. Also, it's often hard to know if the tips are shared with the kitchen, or just divided among the servers. I always
