Ok, I NEED to see Space Precinct 2040. That show seems right up my alley.

It's the perfect bike for launching you head first into a wall during your inevitable wreck.

@NotGodot: Well, I don't know how it's going to be come opening night. It sounds like the first preview show had some serious glitches, but those are just preview shows, which are intended to reveal problems.

If I were to get a LTE Android phone and pay the extra I'd need to turn it into a wifi hotspot, am I still limited to 4GB? Right now, AFAIK, WiMax on Sprint is still unlimited, right?

Well, I know I'll see it twice, once with my wife over opening weekend and once with my folks over Christmas weekend, so I'm doing my part.

@Almightywhacko: Google has been trying to do this for a long time. Google Books was in existence well before the Kindle came out. Their plan of opening an ebook store is a natural evolution of Google Books. In other words, I think you can make a case about Google's me-too attitude about some of their services, but

I used to get hiccups all the time as a kid, but after about age 18 or 19, they just sort of stopped.

Ok, I love this. I've been meaning to order a couple of these for Christmas, and I'm glad I waited around for this, as it's a perfect gag-package for my parents.

So they complain about the bandwidth used by torrents, and now that folks have moved over to legally streaming videos, they're complaining about that bandwidth as well.

Daammnnn that looks great.

My little dog might have a bigger brain than a cat, but she's still a doofus (though a pretty adorable little doofus).

However much I love seeing stuff like this, I am frequently struck (and a little disturbed) that I just can't gain the same level of enthusiasm for this project that I did for LotR.

I'm a big fan of almost all of these. The exceptions are Vampire Diaries (because I'm sick of vampires), Neverwhere (which just didn't grab me), and Life on Mars (which I've never seen). I can whole-heartedly lend my recommendation to all the others.

I want to encourage everyone to use this video as the new Rick Roll.

Interesting and cool. If I had a spare wad of cash, I would buy it just for the vintage issues.

Well, he has almost perfected the monkey dance, which seems like the greatest accomplishment in that video.

Nothing that interesting. I was hoping for a deal on an AppleTV.

@JakeWharton: I used to stand up a MythTV box, so Boxee really does appeal to me. I'll have to keep an eye on the project. I am looking to retire the PS3 in another year or so and replace it with something a little smaller. In some ways, the Boxee Box seems just about perfect (though I might have to throw it into a

Bummer. I wasn't planning on buying one of these (the PS3 works for now), but I was hoping it would be at least competitive. Sounds like it was rushed to market, which will probably kill it in the long run.
