My vote is for colony... not so much because I actually believe that, but because that's what I want to be true.

I will read this... promise... I'm currently re-reading Consider Phlebas... which is the only Banks I've read (I admit). I have Player of Games lined up next, and after that, I might pick up this book or just continue with whatever comes after Games.

Well, I didn't upgrade to 1.6 until I finally encountered some software that required it, and I'm sure I'll treat 1.7 the same.

@daqman: I have one of those too in my office drawer at work. I paid way too much for it just literally a week before Android was announced. Once I got my G1, I have maybe turned on my N810 twice.

Some kids had Star Wars; some had ET. For me, my childhood film was always Tron. I swear, I used to watch it every weekend until I was 9.

Although, I'm temporarily retired from building Android apps, I must say that this post really doesn't make much sense at all. I have run into two problems dealing with different versions of Android. One of which is a legitimate bug with Android 2.1 and the other occurred when some folks were using an unofficial ROM

Well that's a shame. It's such a nice looking OS, but with that sort of lackluster hardware, it's almost as if they don't even care about competing.

That's too bad. I subscribed for a few years some time ago, but alas, I let my subscription lapse and never bothered to renew.

They should autograph them and put them up on Ebay.
