^ We got a certified chode on our hands.
I love that he adds ‘from the movie Zodiac’ after mentioning Gyllenhaal.
The article mentions it still accommodates headsets though.
Do you know what game needs to be on this list? Resonance of Fate. Resonance of Fate is tri-Ace’s best game. Better than Star Ocean. Better than Valkyrie Profile. Even better than Final Fantasy XIII-2 (which they helped develop). It has their best battle system, a brilliant mix of turn based and active battling that…
I don’t know if Gravity Rush 2 fits the bill of “underrated” as it certainly got great critical reception, but it was tragically ignored. It wasn’t a perfect game by any stretch - hello tedious fetch quests quests and story that goes in weird, rambling directions! - but it’s nonetheless one of my favorite games of the…
I recently remember Gravity Rush 2 existed and man... what a good game. It's got some of the coolest characters and and wildest settings. And Kat is such a plucky hero that it's just infectious. Real shame it released and was almost completely forgotten not long after.
Your friend sounds terrible
Friend of mine was at a club where he was shouting upstairs for an hour or so. On his way out he was still mad, and while ranting he casually slapped her and several other women on the ass. Dude’s been garbage forever.
I think the BBC show that he alludes to doing before Orphan Black is Intruders (with Millie Bobby Brown), an interesting, creepy one season show. He was, of course, a creepy assassin.
Found Childish Gambino.
I have a little trouble with the idea that a performer can be more wooden than Jerry Seinfeld. That said, Mulaney is a very mannered and deliberate performer, and his braying Stage Voice takes some getting used to. His specials also feel very writerly, rather than going for a loose, off the cuff comedy-club vibe.
Tom Petty died in 2017 so there’s that.
Same here. I’m up for a Cindi Mayweather musical. The songs of ArchAndroid also span a lot of genres yet complement each other really well.
Its interesting to see "Dirty Computer" listed here since my favorite concept album is "The Archandroid"
Happy to see The Protomen listed above, but I just skimmed through 99 comments and Cursives The Ugly Organ wasn’t mentioned in a single one of them. I guess it’s up to me and comment #100. Such a brilliant album. I got to see Cursive live a few weeks ago and they have a cellist in the band again now, so the Ugly Organ…
I forgot that Iris put hero in quotation marks for some reason. I was so distracted by how cheesy the article was.
I feel kind of the same way, I have never really bought into Grant Gustin’s performance as a tortured soul. He is great as funny Barry and bemused Barry and determined Barry and even quietly desperate/somwhat dickish Barry, but when he gets angry, to me he just sounds like a teenager being told he can’t go to the lake…
And God DAMN but he looks like Jack McBrayer.
While Steven Universe isn’t for me, I’m glad it is available for people it is for. I know a few people whose life became better after watching the show and all of its seasons.
Maybe one day, it’ll be for me too.
