I love Chrissy Teigen so much.

I think a lot of nerdy men convince themselves that because they were socially awkward and got teased growing up, they can never be anything but nice guys. No matter what they say or do, they can’t be a bully or a bigot or a predator. Popular culture tends to reinforce this mindset.

Some of the brightest and most gifted men I’ve worked with in tech are also some of the most emotionally stunted and misogynistic I’ve ever encountered. I’m actually a bit surprised that stuff like this doesn’t happen more often. A lot of these guys are full-on sociopaths.

This is a hilariously spot-on impression of a person who would use “beta male” and understand getting “handsy” with someone just because you paid for their night out.

I’d like to let anyone reading this know that there are AA meetings across every town and country at every time of day. You don’t have to pay any money to attend a meeting or even give anyone your real name. All it costs you is an hour (sometimes an hour and a half) of your time.
