That is so very sad.

Fuck cancer.

19k is too much, but it’s fairly close. Close enough to get there with some haggling, especially considering any buyer would have to get a top, get a bodyshop, and complete the integration to finish the project. Ideally, I think, the sweet spot for me would be around 14.5k

Being the innocent that I am, for a few seconds I thought this was some funky mangled U-joint.

Oh man.. This will bring the Honda fanboys out of their caves, gnashing their teeth and pounding their chests over this desecrated S2K. I’m talkin’ glassy-eyed and spittle flying - that’s a hardcore bunch.

There are plenty of sports cars that fit big people. If they made the Miata bigger, it wouldn’t be what it is. The entire point of the Miata is that it’s small and light. Making it bigger and (inevitably) heavier would ruin it.

This delay won’t have much impact. The next PlayStation is already is delayed, so Gran Turismo’s next version will be delayed, and that’s the only place people bought TVRs.

Or the guys from Pawn Stars. “Look, I like it personally, but I gotta pay you for it, then I gotta get it cleaned, then I gotta put it in a shadowbox, then it’s gonna sit here in my store taking up space I could use selling things that actually sell, and I know I will only get five dollars for it at best and someone

60% or trades for all sorts of oddball things, “i’ll trade ya 2 jet skis that don’t work plus a 60" TV, gun safe and jacuzzi (doesn’t work) for your car.

a shady greedy dealer really marking up the undercoat sealant and extra fancy mats.

Everytime I see this all i can think is that its a diorama, and not real.

It’s not being a hard ass. It’s called the joy of driving and, no matter how much faster your flappy paddles and pen-tuple clutch shifts gears and decreases your lap times, there’s a certain amount of joie de vive that’s lost when you don’t have a clutch.

Zero interest whatsoever in any of them. I like my computerized cars to be comfortable daily drivers and my performance cars to be as analog as possible. Not really an unusual take — if you were over the age of 16 and had ever driven a car you would probably understand. Then again, you’re a low-quality troll as it is

The scabs will probably be better and know more about cars anyway....

Been there, done that, and it's not even close. My 421whp SC'd S2000 was inferior to my C5Z in every way except interior quality. And my C7 is so much better it's not even funny.

The part that I’m actually most amused by is that because these times are not set during sanctioned races, the official Grand Course record is actually held by a 250cc shifter kart... and that time is only 0.7 seconds slower than the Senna (2:35.6 vs 2:34.9), and faster than every other car they’ve (unofficially)

Oh but you *can* actually go into the negative, but you probably don’t want to.

My friend just made partner at his law firm. His law firm told him to buy a new car even though it was a perfectly fine 2009 ford fusion.

I’ve met him a couple times, actually did a video with him and my old car when he was still doing One Takes. He was a really nice guy who was appreciative of people letting him drive their cars. Super down to earth and not at all a d-bag.

Their pushrod engines are better than Europeans’ equivalent DOHC engines.
