I don’t care about top speed, though I am a fan of Kia’s extremely optimistic view of the top speed of my wife’s previous vehicle (a Sorento) that had a speedometer that went up to 160 mph.

I’m disappointed. A Corvette I might actually consider owning and no manual transmission. Considering the fact that around 25% of all C7s have a manual transmission I think GM has made a big mistake. That’s a non-starter for me.

The only thing that matters is how many Yukon Denalis GM can sell to keep the C8 from getting killed off 3 years into production (at which point, GM will have fixed all the niggling faults that kept it from being a great car to begin with).
