This may depend on the country, but I’ve been told by multiple people to *never* put your age or date of birth on it. It is not relevant, and a lot of HR in larger companies will immediately discard it because of anti-discrimination laws as it can be a source for conscious or unconscious bias for or against a

You’ll eventually get to pick your characters when you explore the old schoolhouse each month, but when you’re deployed on field assignments, the team is essentially fixed as the class is always divided into two different locations. You do get some autonomy in that you’ll usually have 5-6 characters available and only

It’s entirely possible to jump into The Witcher 3 and follow it. There’s not a lot of complex lore or story or anything that it assumes you know about. There might be a few characters that show up which you won’t know but you can pretty quickly figure them out. It’s designed to be a stand-alone game that is accessible

I had the first edition and thought it was okay, but not quite as amazing as some people made it out to be. The App seems like it’d solve a lot of issues but my biggest worry with this trend in board games that need an App to run them is what happens in 10, 20 years? Some of the copies in my board game collection are

Have they improved / added checkpointing at all? I was absolutely loving the second one until I hit a boss fight before I was ready to go into it (IIRC it wasn’t well signposted, I still wanted to explore and accidentally went into the boss room) and couldn’t instantly figure out what I was meant to do, died, and then

The 442nd was the most decorated unit in the US military for is size and length of service. More medals awarded than there were men that served in the unit, including 8 presidential unit citations and 21 medals of honor. The whole unit was almost completely made up of second-generation Japanese-Americans and many of

You can often find the Aeron for much cheaper on ebay. I think I paid closer to $600 for mine, rather than the $1400 or so in that Amazon link.

Finally stuck a fork in Xenoblade 2 yesterday - got sidetracked back when it released and never finished, picked it back up a few weeks ago, after finishing up the main story in FFXIV: Shadowbringers. So I’m thinking next is probably something that *isn’t* a giant RPG that is going to suck up hundreds of hours.

Being combative toward organizations that don’t want to play by the rules is kind of the whole point of unions.

Super small nitpick: the name of the world of the Source is not Eorzea, it’s actually Hydaelyn (and yes, this does have interesting lore implications). Eorzea is just the continent of Aldenard plus large the island of Vylbrand.

Best and most entertaining FF villain *ever*, I’d argue. Kefka was just an unstable asshole. Emet-Selch pulls off being an absolutely reprehensible piece of trash while also having logical and understandable motivations to the point you understand exactly how he arrived at that point and would almost sympathize with

Yeah, as I’ve gotten older I’ve come to the same realization. Everything in the games media is all about keeping you running on that new release treadmill and it will burn you out if you don’t periodically hop off and refocus on actually enjoying yourself. Getting out of that cycle is really liberating. You realize

Wait so on the one hand we have a beloved, long-running series in Yakuza ditching Action RPG battles for turn-based JRPG battles

Same here. Grandia II was one of the best JRPGs that no one seems to have played. I also preferred it over Arcadia, though that’s primarily because I never was able to finish Skies due to my Dreamcast’s laser having alignment issues which caused it to lock up the game in battles.

Not with Epic. Especially not while they’re owned by Tencent.

Why would it be considered any different to the VW Type 1 / Beetle? I don’t think many would consider those to be Nazi memorabilia despite the fact the initial vehicle was designed to meet specs literally set out by Hitler...

Fun fact: the WW2-era Italian navy used green paint for the underwater areas of the hulls of their larger ships, rather than red.

There’s also a smaller area where there is constant lightning, and it also always rains there. AFAIK there’s no way to stop the rain there at all?

I absolutely couldn’t get it when I played it either. Tried multiple times, nothing clicked.
