Yeah exactly. Sometimes the tips on lifehacker are way too over-engineered. This is way too complicated.

Coincidentally I was just looking for one of these. One thing to note is that on the inateck model linked in the article, there’s only a single power button for both drives. I also read somewhere that when both drives are connected, it will appear as a single drive on your computer. I’m not exactly sure how that works…
