Kinda maybe sorta. If Häkkinen hadn’t retired we probably would have had a Prost/Senna type of spectacle (without the animosity). They were of similar age, had comparable F1 experience, and were just as fast as the other. When Räikkönen came on the scene he was a rookie - a fast rookie, but a rookie nonetheless.

Can’t speak for big, heavy sleds but for the smaller and tossable cars ~300 hp seems to be the sweet spot for everyday driving and on-ramp shenanigans.

The one thing I remember when Ford, Jaguar, and F1 come up is that Eddie Irvine was the highest paid Ford employee during his tenure at Jaguar F1.
