I remember when this car debuted. I was so disappointed. Previous McLarens were elegant in their simplicity. The MP4/10 was a trainwreck in comparison. Probably one of the worst ever high-nose designs.

When I see current Indycars they remind me of that line: “now that’s a face for radio.”

First time I saw this image I thought it was a camera glitch or something.

Why is no one asking the question of what happens in 15 -20 years when the display stops working? How much is that gonna cost?

Since my first gen Mazda 3 I’ve compared every car interior to it. Not because it was the fanciest or most dramatic, but because everything was where you expected it to be, clearly marked, and intuitive.

Viper all the way. Ever since the Z06 came out, the Viper has been looking better and better. The Z06 - while awesome - just looks like it’s trying too hard. All the tacked on aero bits, strakes, and non body-colored vents... Meanwhile the Viper (non ACR) just sits there, confident in it’s relative simplicity.

Nah, the whole ordeal with Ferrari and McLaren wanting to control where and how the shootout would happen leaves a bad taste. Porsche on the other hand was willing to lend their car for testing without any strings attached. Credit to Porsche for being confident enough in their car to just say “sure, here ya go”.

Not a fan of the LED lightbars. Sure, they look neat and bright, but they just don’t have the distance that the old skool halogens have.

Okay, now that we’ve got the cars out of the way (kudos on the 919) let’s do a best race series of 2015. Because anything was better than F1 that’s for sure.
