I always hear hatchbacks (and wagons) described as 3- or 5-door, and sedans/coupes described as 2- or 4-door, so that you can tell apart the body style by the number of doors. Judging by the responses on here, is this not a practice in North America?

I’m not really sure who was asking for a LT1 in a XJ6? To me the LT1 does not add any value, if I am buying an old Jag I want an old Jag not an engine swapped car. Also, you can pick up these XJ’s in great shape for like $3,000. No way would I pay $9,000 more for an LT1 swapped one.
