There was no way there wasn’t going to be a f-ed up backstory of rape/molestation in her background considering the fact that her sister is a sex worker and her dad a cult leader. We know how TV works.

The childhood molestation thing was SO obvious. I’ve decided that Nic Pizzolatto is the type of writer who thinks he’s super deep and knows a lot about character development but is actually supremely up his own butthole. ALL the characters this season have had the most cliched back stories.

I saw a lot of celiac sufferers commenting on one of the CBC stories about this saying that they would still probably order the gluten-free options (or a meal that is naturally gluten free), but would no longer have to panic about slight cross-contamination.

And they do that when a left turn lane starts, so you can’t turn left until they move forward, and then the left turn signal goes green while the go signal is red and you cry a lot.

Short Stoppers. MF’ers blocking access to turn lanes. Every single day. And then they wonder why there is traffic congestion.
