The first seven seconds are not part of the trailer, they’re the Trailer Broadcast System’s attention signal. This is because the trailer format is fundamentally incompatible with television viewing parties. (This was premiered during the MTV Movie and TV Awards.) You have to grab people and scream down their neck

You’re welcome.

Welcome to the modern news blog. For each subject-specific blog, articles from sub-blogs get posted to the main blog.

It may not be the FCC itself, but any of the providers who stand to gain from the dismantling.

This makes sense. They built 6-series two-doors for many years. It’s common for coupes to take some time off between platform changes.

I think there are other people who understand the idea, they just don’t think this particular execution is good.

I bet they use that joke when she first gets to the front.

Previous trailers were good, weren’t they? This latest thing was designed for MTV by someone who watched VH1 growing up. I hope this doesn’t play in front of any movies in theatres. It seems like an overgrown TV spot.

They’re closer than that.

I’m hoping it’s like the Official Trailer, but I’m betting it’s like the Official Origin Trailer. But with more levity and regality.

Is there such a thing as a new 2JZ-GTE crate motor?

Imagine if they designed clothing on mannequins built to statistically average proportions.

Give it a little time and you’ll find it’s still pretty easy for attention to lapse if you’re tired or stressed and not making an effort to make the drive fun.

Curious what your wife thinks of the first trailer. I think the trailers (this latest is really an MTV spot) made a good impression but what I’ve seen of the TV campaign is particularly shlocky. (I try to avoid watching any TV spots once a film is on my watch list; in recent years TV spots usually muddle and spoil.)

I get the impression that there’s a trailer team and a TV team, and the TV team did this latest “trailer.” It premiered during the MTV Movie and TV Awards, and I bet it never actually runs in front of a movie in a theatre.

I think maybe you mean to reply to someone else. But anyway, some would rather she get involved with Bruce.

What else?

In space, no one can hear your spin.

“Everything good about the film that people like (with the exception of Emily Blunt) is from the source.”

Me too.
