I just heard the ‘33,000 people die a year from guns’ statistic quoted again on NPR. Let’s do the mental math: There are 30,000 gun related deaths per year by firearms, and this number is not disputed. The U.S. population is 324,059,091 as of Wednesday, June 22, 2016. That means 0.000000925% of the population dies…
The problems here are pretty typical of any government-run maintenance operation. Even worse, the government operations get away with stuff that a private entity never would.
When being civilized means paying more than necessary for something, I will gladly show civility the door. I am a reasonable person, but I am not a timid person.
Probably my favorite eBay part has been radiators. You get the same plastic-sided garbage as the parts stores, but for half price. I have 3 out there now in stuff I’ve fixed over the years for myself and family. I leak checked them when they came out of the box and have had no issues.

Make a truck that fits 33s-35s stock and lift won’t be necessary. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to make “peel-away” sections for the fenders/wheel openings.
