Not to be too harsh, but Henry didn’t deserve the Heisman. Watson and McAffrey are both far better football players, Henry was a big back who got the ball 30 times a game and he’s far from being the best player on his own team.
I hated Watson while the game was going on and respect the hell out of him now that it’s over. He is good. Every time we pulled off some insane circus play and took back the lead he’d just calmly march down the field like we weren’t even there.
Don’t be a dickhead, you’re making us look bad. Win with some class.
I think it’s fair to say that Coker had probably the most flattering performance for a championship winning QB. A lot of blown coverages for long TD’s and zero pocket awareness. Not a lot said about that, but his team won the game so fair, enough.
Not only do I want to root against Alabama, but the whole SEC.
Nobody outside the hash for Clemson on this play and then on the KO returned for a TD, Clemson had everyone bunched together on the kickoff only to let Drake get the edge. Incredibly poor ST play by Clemson.
And somewhere, Brandon Bostick looks towards the sky for what seems like the thousandth time, and wonders why it had to happen the way it did.
Best onside kick since the Saints in the Super Bowl?
I meant dark forces in a playful way, meaning Saban, their ridiculously talented players, their history, etc... but ok, be a cynic about it. Alabama played a better game, but considering Deshaun was doing all the throwing, catching, tackling, kicking, holding, blocking according to you, it’s impressive the game was so…
I’m in the UK and I tried to get my friend who loves the NFL to watch College Football and he said he didn’t like it for exactly this reason. There are too many huge plays and the level just isn’t good enough to enjoy. Whereas I enjoy the complete mayhem that can happen.
It means somebody has a sore ass
What does this mean?
Does Neil Everett believe in non-dairy creamer? Does he rise to the top? Then, allow the Macho Man to explain:
I’m a Kentucky alumnus. What cracks me up is I have a cousin who saw a basketball title while she was there, and then got into Alabama law school to see a football one. I was at UK during the Tubby years.
Alabama is the finest college football team in this era. There’s no question. I root for Kentucky, and if any two fan bases should understand one another, it’s the Tide and the Cats. Not because we’re archrivals, but because we’re mirror images in different sports. (Actually, because of championship formats, they’re…
As a resident of the state of Alabama who is not a fan of Alabama: pray for me.
Needs to be extended to include the huge flex at the end.
Must think he’s a Steelers coach.
