I saw the play live, and didn’t think Jones’ actions merited a penalty. I watched the replay several times and had a hard time even seeing what prompted the foul. I rewatched the penalizing play online, and it’s like wtf? Jones ran at Porter and might have made incidental contact with a ref, who then throws the flag.

“There is no continuum here, obviously”. Both shots are not of the incident which we’re focused on, and there is a time gap, which even you acknowledge, so not sure as to how they’re relevant other than to show that contrary to your statement earlier, the Bengals players and Porter looked relatively calm in the vine

Rule 13 Article 8 would be worth a read.

Porter violated Rule 13 Articles 2 & 8. He could have been flagged twice.

Not a WR coach, not a doctor. Why’s he there?

Porter shouldn’t have been on the field and, if anything, the penalty against Jones should have been against Porter. Porter slightly pushed Jones away and Jones backed off.

This is a real bad sign for the rest of my life, but I totally agree with him.

Well, since it will stay grey forever on Screengrabber:

He aint wrong.

Why wasn’t Porter flagged for being out there and instigating?

I’m no fan of Pacman Jones or the Bengals, but he’s kind of right here. Burfict earned his flag, but the call on Jones was pretty weak when Porter was out there going back and forth with Bengals. Joey Porter isn’t part of the training staff or Antonio Brown’s position coach (or the head coach for that matter), why is

Point is, many residents are bending over backwards to save water due to limited supply. Some of it is voluntary, but there’s nothing imaginary about the restrictions. If you exceed your historic use, there’s a 25% surcharge. But that’s not gonna make a difference when animal agriculture is far exceeding household

Uh, that was their point, that animal agriculture in a desert/drought state uses up so much water that everyday people have to ration their water use.

Not unless the concert band travels for competitions. But how many of those are there? 2 or 3 a year? Marching bands have way more bus trips due to away games and competitions. All told we’re talking at least 6-8 bus trips in that one semester. Maybe more if they do some parades.

Normally Texans fans are gasping when tasked with walking up a small flight of stairs.

And California has over one million more cows than Iowa.

Dear Stanford: that cow state of Iowa legalized same-sex marriage before California by a score of 2009 to 2013. Four years before. Think about that before mocking them.

Harmless as their Iowa trolling is, Stanford does seem to breed shitheads.
