I think you’re confusing Connect with the Galaxy integration. Connect literally added the game to your GOG account just like any other purchased title.

Was Metzen ever involved in the actual game design? I always thought he was mostly involved on the story/writing side of things.
They maintain the master server responsible for telling you where all the user-maintained servers are.
For me, the big thing is how many restaurants just plain haven’t reopened post-pandemic. Drive-thru doesn’t count. I’ve given up on the local Arby’s, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, and Burger King because even when I try to stop in at 12 PM on a weekend, the odds are >75% that they’ll be closed.

I could understand if part of the order was out of stock. Being out of stock of everything means that either they can’t be bothered to keep their inventory up-to-date, or worse, they’re deliberately not keeping it up-to-date in hopes of luring in customers by appearing to have a bigger selection than they actually do.…
They need to add support for wireless firmware updates first. I don’t normally charge my controllers with a cable connected to the console, so it’s too much hassle to update them.
The one time I tried placing an order with them, they claimed to be out of stock of all seven items. Not a trustworthy store.
As a customer, it’s probably better to get out now just to be safe.
