Why thank you! He's a complainer. He complains about everything, even when he's enjoying it. He's such a sweetheart, though. His favorite time of the day (outside of wet food) is watching our 'stories.' When I sit down with the DVR he pops up and has a few favorites, like Supernatural and Elementary.
Spent a wonderful day out with my mother. We ate an amazing lunch at the National Gallery of Art, then we went to the Dumbarton Oaks museum, and we explored the vast gardens.
This is my love, Chewie. He is 13 and just as ornery as ever. Perfect word for these beloved cats!
I love siamese. LOVE.
He was using negative reinforcent against your try-hard witchcraft. It was obviously a favor. Mine helps with eliminating gauche lamps.
As a cat lover since I was in diapers, I can attest to this fact. There is a perfectly good explanation too: They're above us in our emotional intellect. Bow down before our expressionless overlords.
Yeah, cats can be real dicks.
Oh my goodness, what a beauty! That snaggletooth! <3 <3 <3
THIS is my pirate, Saul the Sailor. Found clinging to debris floating downriver after a flood. He also cannot meow, only squeek.
This is our Aly, who was found inside a taped-closed box in a Dumpster at 4 weeks old. Talk about a rough start in life. Don't worry, she's now totally a pampered princess who is fed on the counter instead of on the floor with the rabble. She's turning 9 so I guess she's a senior technically - time flies!
Quite the snaggle there
Here's my munchkin, her name is Niko.
I don't mean to take any thunder away from Zeb, but if you live in Western NY and are looking for an amazing lap cat who loves being held like a baby, I have a cat for you. Phantom is a homeless cat who showed up on my doorstep about 3 weeks ago. Long story short he only has a few teeth, he has a crumpled ear-the vet…
I had two FIV+ cats (one who developed while I had her, the other I adopted knowing he was FIV+, to be a companion for the first) and one lived to be 11 and the other 19. Their quality of life was the same as any other cat.
That's what vets (and the shelter from whence Oliver came; Schnookums was a found cat) keep telling me. Perhaps we Jezzies should start a campaign to make the general public more informed about FIV and the fact that cats with it are fully able to live long, healthy lives? It's not feline leukemia, folks...
one of the shelters I used to work for took part in a long term study of FIV cats and found that they have the same quality of life as FIV negative cats. No reason not to adopt one or two!
To be fair, there are some tattoo artists who can do really amazing hand-poked tattoos, but they've likely undergone specialized apprenticeships and are just as concerned with cleanliness and safety as any other tattoo artist. But yeah, an artist whose only experience is in regular tattooing should not be attempting…
This is a seriously horrifying thing that these idiots are promoting. "Hey everyone let's all get disfiguring skin infections with a risk of death from a staph infection gone wrong!"
