No, you don't tie the ID to a ballot in Estonia anymore you do in conventional voting. The electronic voting system in Estonia is similar to the the physical double-envelope system that we use where I'm from (if you want to vote in advance or from abroad etc). The encrypted vote content and digital signature are…
Estonia successfully did it. They did it by giving all citizens an ID card which they can use to identify and authorize themselves to government services including voting. The only extra hardware required is the smart card reader so I imagine it does work.
I see what you're trying to do, but I think you got it a bit backwards. The authorities that investigate cyber crime hardly need offensive tools to do their job. The offensive tools have two major domains: 1) espionage and 2) disruption. So, we want to learn secrets or destroy your stuff or we want to do both.…
I guess it depends how you define simple, but based on what I've studied about Stuxnet and Duqu and Flame, this picture sums it up pretty nicely (from http://securityreactions.tumblr.com/post/392138088…)
Yes, yes.. but do we have duty free after space?
Realistic? Or believable? I mean, how can we tell about the reality of the future until.. it's realized?

Am I the first to question the security of this installation? And I'm not just talking about falling from heights, but when there are multiple people jumping up and down on a trampoline weighting 30 - 90 kg each and some of them go up at the same time some lighter kid goes down.. there's serious risk of back injury…
Gunters, write this down.
I honestly feel Battleship is one of the most clever movies in the recent years. You just need to understand that the movie is playing with expectations. You expect an action movie with heroes, but if you start thinking about it - the movie is about failure.. how heroism and gung-ho attitude and war-mongering can get…
+1
The boy's rescuers are not cannibals, but it's not a happy ending. They are imaginary. There's plenty of supporting evidence both in the book and in the movie.
This would make more sense:
The Causal Angel, by Hannu Rajaniemi.
Just shut up and take my money!
Why couldn't you hack anything with a mac?
I .. see .. so many new T-shirts!
Been there, driven that. Actually the scary ones were the bridges where you couldn't see if anyone was coming from the other side and with some bridges there was no room for more than one car to go over at a time. At least I was driving with a normal car. It must be really difficult to maneuver a caravan.. or a truck!
