Can you people read the article? 4K credit for ALL EVs. Additional 3.5K for EVs with greater than 40Kwh. Another 4.5K if the final assembly is in a US unionized plant.

That’s only 4.5K over the 7.5K that EVs get. So if you’re following, more than half of the money is going to non-union EVs.

Magna builds cars for OEMs like BMW and Audi. I’m sure Magna will take Apple’s money. If not Magna, then a Chinese automaker is always be willing to take Apple’s vast capital and brand cache for a 50:50 partnership for Chinese market potential

I agree - winter will not be fun if the door handles freeze. Most of these applications have been on exotics (or tesla, but most tesla owners probably have a garage space).

Lincoln door handle on the belt line seems to be a good compromise

Because people daily their Rolls/Lambos/Aston Martin/Ferrari/Bentley/McLaren these days without much fuss, and If that’s the only selling point of the NSX, then it doesn’t really outshine the competition.
