Honda has been quite desparate for EV partner to dance with. GM/Cruise. SONY. Now Nissan. The thirst is real
Look at the list. There’s basically three groups.
Roofline and rear end reminds me of v50
The thing is traditional OEMs will be less impacted by loss of EV credits. They make gas cars... unlike Tesla.
The only people really impacted are the likes of Rivian and Lucid. But was 7500 going to keep you from dropping 6 figures on a car in the first place?
Fake hoodscoop for posers that want to cosplay “ruggedness”
Actual benefit? none.

Polestar 1 was not a mass market car. it was a limited run production car. 1500 total made, not because of lack of demand, but because that’s what they planned to produce.
Tires are tested with water as well. Water doesn’t compress much so tires blowing out at 200psi of water isn’t quite as destructive as 200psi of air filled tire bursting
lol yeah these jingoistic people don’t know how to properly display the flag they so love. My FIL also has the flag on his porch that’s hanging vertical with the stars to the right (which is backwards).
Get out of here. US had H1B system for STEM field work visa
the people who benefit from hiring”illegals” are the employers who can exploit these workers with low wages and harsh working conditions, not the “illegals”
these cars are not “safe” - they will not hold up to modern crash testing standards.
Plus the airbags are old, and we’ve all seen what happens to airbags gets old. Sure Takata had a design flaw, but I wouldn’t want to be in one of these when the airbags go off.
These aren’t some collectors car that will be driven to and…
