True, but probably cheaper than having to deal with the political fallout of certain group of Americans thinking USPS wasted money on fancy Mercedes
Current mustang owner here. I disagree with you. Imagine the uproar if Honda decided to make a EV version of CRV and decided to call it “Type-R” or if “S-4000" or whatever. Or if the new Supra was a 4 door EV SUV.
Names and words have meanings.
It’s not even the EV part that I have problem with. I wanted to see a…
Agreed on all points. Model E would have been amazing because Tesla “Model 3" is only because Ford owns “Model E” trademark.
Acura’s target market for this car are people who insist that they don’t want a Stinger because “it’s a Kia”. (Snooty people who can’t afford a BMW)
Agreed. but we all know they’re going to price this at 40-45k. And with the markups, it’ll be cheaper to buy the C8 Corvette. (same trap as Supra)
nice chevy. looks like the malibu grille
Why would GM use the Honda 2.0T engine? GM has their own, and Honda turbo engines have had plenty of issues lately. (oil dilution, over heating comes to mind)
Obama was criticized for drone strikes in the middle east (particularly one incident where a terrorist who was a US national was the target of the strike).
A foolish argument on bananahammock2's side since decided Trump likes to expend American blood willy nilly
Honda is NOT reliable, and it’s definitely NOT OK by itself. In fact they admitted both when it decided to rebadge GM electric cars to sell as its own.

People don't come to us for medical procedures either. Overall, there's more documented instances of people travelling out of the us for cheaper care. Mexico, Canada, India, Korea, etc.
Population density absolutely has a ton to do with it. Much harder to keep six feet apart when you live in a city than in the burbs. I have family in NYC and they're having a difficult time while in the mid west, it's very easy to socially distance
While I agree 100% on your sentiment on the Covid crisis, I think you’re discounting the fact that Volvo’s consumers are wealthy, and as in the last recession and any other calamities, natural or man made, the rich are doing OK.
That’s because CRZ was an ims system where the hybrid motor was attached on the engine/flywheel side before the transmission. NSX has separate electric motors, so won’t work.
You’re discounting R&D and tooling costs - If an auto manufacturer expected to only make 650 machines over the life of the vehicle production, that vehicle would be hundreds of thousands of dollars too. (read: Ford GT)
yeah, but the powertrain option isn’t as interesting as the Genesis

“engineers would mock up fake “production ready” models”
I find Musk intolerable, and I’m an ACTUAL engineer in automotive field. Hydrogen is not going to work, and Toyota needs to move on. They don’t seem to be able to because of the billions of dollars they already spend on it (sunken cost fallacy) and typical face-saving as to not embarass the high level managers who…
