The mentality of “thin blue line” is the root of the problem. The phrase has origin in warfare (not the movie, but still). The police thinks that they are at war with the communities, and that they are vastly outnumbered in a hostile territory.

If you wanted an Asian “Sport sedan” with turbo 4 or turbo 6, you could have bought a Kia Stinger three years ago.
