@BruschisBrewsky: Hey, if it makes you happy. (high five!)
@BruschisBrewsky: Hey, if it makes you happy. (high five!)
@BruschisBrewsky: Are you suggesting that making the same joke that's been made in some form 40 times already in the same thread isn't funny?
The same guy who held up the "KOBE WOULDN'T CHEAT" sign back in 2003.
@UkraineNotWeak: Good call. I think that if many of the Deadspinners knew of Bradley's work, he'd be mercilessly ridiculed on this site along the lines of Plaschke or Shaughnessey.
@Karlifornia: Glad you like Richt, though. I always wonder what people in other parts of the country think of Richt....and of UGA in general.
@Karlifornia: Yeah, they're ridiculous. I tried convincing all of my UGA brethren before the season that 10-2 was more realistic (due to the schedule and O-line question marks), and that the Florida game would likely decide who represented the East (as it often does, much to my dismay afterwards). They all thought I…
@UkraineNotWeak: I haven't been able to listen in years, but I got a little taste while driving out of Athens after the Georgia Tech game last year. People were literally on the verge of yelling, ripping Wille Martinez (UGA's DC) for "not having any class or integrity" since he didn't immediately resign following the…
@Sculptor?!? I just met her!: I do that here in Tennessee and people just point and laugh at me.
@Athens_Grease: I would actually love to elaborate on this - even if it's just my incessant blathering with no real point - if I can be fortunate enough to write Georgia's season preview this year. Georgia could go 9-3 with a supposedly depleted group and suddenly Richt looks like a genius again.
@Karlifornia: I don't know, really - I think it's a combination of somewhat unrealistic expectations and the SEC being too tough for a team like Georgia (really good talent, but not elite at every position) to run without a blemish.
@Athens_Grease: That being said, it would be cool to see the Hawks make some great, long run in the playoffs.
@formerly Chief Wahoo: Thanks.
@formerly Chief Wahoo: (re: your blog) Do you have a link? Sorry if you've just been through this - I just joined the party.
I feared that the deficit would be 35 when I checked the Hawks' score again....as it turned out, it was 36.
Fuck, gotta run.....for now, at least.
@meefer: Um, yeah.
@UkraineNotWeak: Oh, cool. Is the John's Creek name a really new thing? I haven't lived in Atlanta since about 2003 and I'd never heard of that area before.
@meefer: Sweet - I'm building some support for the Hawks....and the sad thing is, I'm going to be the one missing the game thanks to my girlfriend's graduation celebration.
@UkraineNotWeak: Where do you live in/around Atlanta?
@ClintonPortishead: Whoo-hoo!
