You- and everyone else making this point in essence- is right. And we have the example of the Republican response to Trump body shaming and attacking Alicia Machado in the 1990's, and again less than two weeks ago to see that the concern was less. But...there is no tape of him laughingly talking about sexually

Hilariously the right’s antipathy towards Clinton might contribute to white GOP voters sitting this election out. If they hadn’t spent quite so much time convincing their base that Hillary is a murderous monster, they might be more inclined to just split their ticket on Election Day rather than staying home because

We also already knew he’s a misogynist. As you say, he’s already dehumanized people who are Black, Latino, Muslim, Jewish, immigrants and refugees, people who have disabilities, he’s constantly dehumanized and objectified women, he’s insulted war veterans.

“If you have to wonder if someone\thing is racist, it is.”

The best part? Cuban didn’t particularly mind Trump personally until Trump vomited on him.

Isn’t the mere pretense of Christian values, rather than actually living those values, pretty much the embodiment of conservativism in your country?

He just fucking reiterated his belief that the Central Park Five are guilty. Despite them being exonerated. Despite someone else confessing to the crime. Despite DNA FUCKING EVIDENCE linking that person to the crime. He is a racist and always has been. Anyone who doesn’t see that is willfully ignorant.

“all those cops did was shoot that unarmed black person for no reason, it’s not like he called him the n-word! Racism doesn’t exist! When will black people stop being racist and finally acknowledge the suffering of white people? THE IRISH WERE THE FIRST SLAVES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!”

He literally got his start as a racist. And Ivana wrote about him raping her in the early 90s. I’m torn between being really glad the GOP establishment has finally had enough, and finding the pearl clutching pretty ridiculous. Was anybody surprised about what he said on Friday’s tape? I was surprised to find a

Well, there’s the Republican definition of racism and the Democratic definition. Republicans don’t believe in systemic racism or implicit bias or microaggressions. Their definition of racism is pretty much limited to using the n-word and saying “I hate black people.” Trump has largely skated by among moderate

Americans’ inability to grapple with the historical and continuing reality of racism against black Americans in the US is to me unlike any other -ism. Disclaimer: I am a jewish American. It is so interesting (not in a good way, in a deeply depressing way) to watch the condemnation of Trump for “anti-semitism” on the

I know, right?

His hardcore base doesn’t care, but there aren’t enough of them for him to come anywhere close to winning the election. To win, he also needs the votes of a lot of non-”deplorable” conservatives. People like John McCain and Condie Rice.

Don’t you know that if a white person doesn’t say the “N-word” they’re not racist? Racism is name calling ONLY. “Yeah, I mean, all I did was deny their basic rights and human dignity. You guys are acting like I called them mean names or something”

His base is still with him and mad at those abandoning him.

You are exactly right and it is so enraging. That Trump is a racist is documented all the way back in the 70s. Just for one: He and his dad refused to rent to black people. It’s grotesque that people can even pretend that his racism is at all in question, regardless of his use of the n-word.

Especially since it’s sponsored by Macy’s and broadcast by NBC, both of whom terminated their contracts with Trump last year over his remarks. The irony would be the icing and the maraschino cherry on the cake!

Here’s what’s frustrating about this: We already knew he was a racist. He’s already dehumanized black americans, latino americans, muslim americans. He’s a racist.

Surprised Burnett has draconian NDAs that protect Trump? Nope
