Lotta ethics coming from TB right now.

Davis Aurini, is that you??
Seriously.
Neither SimCity nor the recent release of The Sims 4 performed very well, according to a person familiar with goings-on at the studio.
If you read all of that out loud with sane people around you, youll realize soon that all your words will turn to diarrhea pretty much instantly.
Well, if you're not Jace, I think you need help too. Look into that. Because you're basically defending a guy who makes videos threatening to kill someone by saying, "Pshaw, he's harmless. Why are you all such haters?"
Elliot Rodger talked like a cartoon villain, but he meant exactly what he said. When guys like this make these kinds of threats, you can't just brush them off and assume they're just kidding.
Incidentally, a couple of people have mentioned 5150'ing him, but that's California law, not federal. Though other states might…
Did you really just defend someone by explaining that his friend was tricked into believing he could save a magically alive Tupac Shakur by assassinating a politician... for an Xbox? You might want to reexamine your life choices.
> I have a problem with Brianna Wu going to Congress
so what you're trying to argue is jace's dangerous and violent reaction is ok because it was a troll and not her instigating it? a troll started it so everything is ok, no harm no foul?
no asshole, the reason she knows about this is not because she's trying to 'generate content.' it's because a stranger is making specific threats of violence against her and she feels she is not getting adequate support from the local police. that's the fucking story. it's not even a story unique to gamergate, but it…
Just because all of the examples you've mentioned are ludicrous and delusional doesn't mean that this woman isn't in danger. In fact, all of this weird, unhinged behavior that you're listing seems like a series of red flags that could easily end with someone getting shot.
I think explaining he was involved in a "prank" that involved sending someone overseas to assassinate a world leader doesn't help your cause in convincing people he isn't a potential threat.
they've taken reports. writing a report is not investigating. if you're close enough to know whether or not his mom has locked away his weapons (which did fuck all for adam lanza, btw) then instead of defending him via anonymous comments on a feminist blog, you should be speaking with his parents and trying to get him…
threats of violence are not eccentricities. they aren't jokes. period. at the end of the day, this man made several threats as well as comments indicating mental instability which coupled with his documented access to weapons, warrants an investigation. which the police refuse to do. that's the issue here.
"Tyce (the guy they beat up) tricked Eli (the guy wanting the Xbox One) into flying to Israel to rescue Tupac Shakur (who they believed was alive and in Gaza at the time) and to assassinate the ex-Prime Minister of Palestine. Tyce was to buy Eli an Xbox One upon successful completion of the mission. "

I see, so you're able to accurately assess the "credibility" of the situation, but Wu isn't capable of making that determination? She feels unsafe — what should she be doing? How, in your view, should she respond?
This is a fascinating pile you've left here. You're right that he says "Moot" not "Wu" in the "Islamic terrorists" section of the video and I'll fix that and add a correction right now. (I misunderstood him and had to play it a few times to hear it.)
I think we need to have a conversation about violence & masculinity.
