I made my Xbox account in 2005 and used one name. Years later i made my PSN and Battlenet accounts and decided to use a different name. Then eventually i made a Steam account, Discord account, and Youtube account (etc etc) all with a 3rd name. I changed my Xbox and Battlenet to match my current name but my PSN account

Equally annoying are the people who assume that others only want to change their name because they got tired of their own joke.

Alternate title:   How to Keep Your Kids Single Until 40

Sigh, clearly the ceo is straight corrupt. Takes over companies and jumps right to cutting it up and selling it off. Take a look at Albert J. Dunlap aka Chainsaw Al, same story.

Something tells me, despite the staff getting the shaft, that the higher-ups are gonna be juuuuuust fine.

Well we can’t be transparent about it, otherwise the workers might not be willing to put in 80 hour weeks until the moment they are fired!”

Hiring someone from across the country knowing you’re going to shut down in a week is extremely super fucked up.

Every other company that has tried to do that has not crashed and burned.  In fact, Amazon itself was one of those companies that tried to grow far faster than they had revenue to support.  I’m not excusing Telltale here, it’s just not true that growing slowly and organically is the only successful method.

It’s highlighting the problem that people are in because Telltale didn’t give any advance warning. That was preventable.

The next stuido to use up and throw away its staff like used trash the way Telltale did is right around the corner. Game Devs need to unionize before that happens and gamers need to support it.

I actually did, and I witnessed the waste involved as hundreds of patients needlessly waste ER resources and money just because they don’t have insurance for maintenance care. You tell me how we could save money on this. It’s not a great fucking mystery.

and/or one or both of you is a shitty person

I actually get that part. It’s similar to the way a musician has a responsibility (even if that’s a weird way to use the word) to release new music. If they go silent, people will stop paying attention and listen to something else. If a streamer stops reliably streaming, people will forget about them and watch someone

I used to play online with a guy who was trying to start a streaming career who we were surprised to discover recently had a new baby, and another young kid and it’s hard not to be judgmental when he’s making 50 cents a day and playing 8 hrs in front of 6 people. He was super happy when he finally made partner but I

Even if the guy walked in with a shoulder-mounted RPG, how does that make it the fault of the company that made a football videogame?

If Jacksonville Landing has a reputation for such activity, how can the plaintiff reasonably expect to be “walking into a safe space”?

Like I said to your other comment, it should be his insurance and/or come from the estate of the shooter. I don’t fault the victim but I also don’t fault EA. If someone walks into a McDonalds and shoots someone else you can’t possibly argue McDonalds is at fault. Going down that route every establishment needs metal

Hold the event outside the US.  Some place with reasonable firearm laws.

Men don’t care. They never did. As long as they’re white and straight, this doesn’t affect them at all.

A lot of my guy friends told me I was crazy on election night because through my sobs I was saying “they’re going to take away our healthcare, they’re going to take away Roe, they’re going to take away gay marriage.” This shit is real, this shit has consequences.
