Her heal aura is pretty much exaclty Lucio’s un-boosted heal aura (~16 hps), and lasts for 5 seconds after your last hit. Plus a burst heal of 150 that has a 6 second cooldown. So max you’re getting ~41 hps on one target, with another 16 hps on the rest of the team.

To compare, Mercy beam does 60 hps.

So Brigitte will

He’s complaining that all games are played in LA (forcing the players to move there), yet each team represents cities from around the globe. For instance, the all Korean roster of Spitfire doesn’t have much connection to London.

It’s a welcome problem. Though they have similar hero pools, EQO and Shadowburn have different styles. Eqo being more aggressive and SDB being more patient. As the meta shifts over the season with different map pools and balance patches, I think the’ll each have time to shine. Right now though, EQO really seems to be

Pine easily has 3 of the top 10 highlights form OWL so far. The man is a machine

That’s not true. Eveyone wanted them to do that and sign Miraculous Youngsters, but instead they signed a bunch of people from around the Chinese scene. That’s part of the reason for all the controversy around the organization, since MY was clearly the best team in China but has been overlooked, and the Dragons have

The weird thing is there’s a ton of excellent pro-quality Chinese players (specifically the team Miraculous Youngsters) that they’re not signing, which is causing all these murmurs of corruption.

I’m glad Geguri is getting signed, but sad it’s with with the Dragons. There’s already enough drama/controversy with that

For the majority of the player base, Mercy will still be viable. Her neutral game hasn’t changed, so you still get a ton of healing, damage boost, and can resurrect one teammate per fight. That’s still a lot of value that can be brought to the table. It’s just that without the OP ultimate ability, she’ll probably no

Though her damage boost can really help a team’s offensive push, not to mention resurrecting key allies can save an attack. She definitely contributes to an overal offensive strategy, just not directly

I agree with you on the importance of sticking with Your Team through thick and thin.

But in Cecilia’s defense, since the league is brand new there nobody had a Team when it started. Deciding you want to root for the team “from” your city is just as valid at this point as choosing a favorite player, or mascot, or

Sorry if I wasn’t more clear. I’m familiar with the character Zarya and how she’s played, as I do play OW and have been watching OWL. However I’m not familiar with the player this article is focusing on.

The premise is Geguri is good enough that she should be on a team, but has been left out at least in part due to her

This was pretty awesome, just based on how many Titans are in that opening battle. But it doesn’t top Effects and Cause for me.

Awesome pull. That’s such a great sequence.

This is what I came down here looking for. Surprised it took so long to find. That level is a master class in game design.

Which explains why Jason Mendoza didn’t make it to the Good Place

Sounds like they may have underestimated the size of the viewership. They had a steady 330K over the night and peaked at over 415K. Even optomistic predictions didn’t see that coming.

Awesome round-up! So many great plays from last night, great to have them all in one place.

Humble request: as someone not familiar with every player’s tag and full name, could you provide both more consistently when first mentioning them in the article? For instance you use “BigGoose” in a section header, then he last

As someone not familiar with her, is it better then the other Zarya players in the OWL? Considering that Zarya is an off meta pick right now and not in the majority of comps I saw last night, what other characters are in her pool, and how good is she on those compared to players in the league?

These are sincere

well yea. canonically most weapons use energized Light, especially the Energy weapons like that one.

But that is pretty egregious.

You could still donate to the campaign.
