I think people are mistaken in calling these “end” credits. They are just credits. Obviously the real point of Animal Crossing is to play throughout the year and collect, decorate, or whatever you want to do. There’s going to be a lot more stuff that happens in your village after this point. They just had to put the

Anyone who has fun differently from me is wrong, and also probably a cheater somehow.

No kidding. Trying to read the ludicrously tiny prompts in Doom Eternal has made me want to rip and tear more than a few demons.

Which in execution is weirdly only slightly less scary.

Satisfactory also has an arachnophobia mode where they just stick pngs of cats on top of the spiders.

Unfortunately what they replaced them with is even creepier.

Definitely one of the weirder accessibility features I’ve seen, but nice for those who need it.

Aside from the fact that I roleplayed fast travel and only used it at the wells to begin with, I legit had like 30000 spirit energy left over at the end of the game. so this “gate” is about as rickety as they come. Not an issue IMO. On the other hand the HUD reduction is fantaaaaastic, and will probably get going on

“Why gatekeep an ability behind a shopkeeper if it was already available in the base game?”

This wouldn’t have affected me since it was way late into the game when I realized you could fast travel from anywhere.  I thought you had to use the spirit wells anyways.

Yep, that’s the advantage of shadowbanning, for sure. They could be banned forever and never realize it.

I guess we’re about to find out how many jerks are also too lazy to use the various workarounds. Then again, there’s also the matter of whether they notice their comments are invisible:

He has his ax to grind, so he’ll just move the goalposts and ignore you.

“Nintendo Removes Game From Switch Shop After Developer Reveals Secret Code Editor” - that’s not a good piece of evidence.

Oh don’t worry, Nintendo will make sure that gets ripped out in short order.

It is a huge deal. The kids and I share a switch. They, of course, have a lot more time to play when I’m not around. Either they’re limited to my progression, or I’m left behind and missing everything story wise.

I’d argue there’s a difference between criticizing a flaw in a game and spamming literally every tweet a company makes with outrage. I don’t know if telling the people doing the latter to shut up is a great move, but saying “these people need to chill the fuck out” isn’t the same as “nobody can criticize anything ever.

I’m so glad this is getting more attention. It’s honestly pretty awful for any household that shares a console. You basically have to pay $300 extra for the full Animal Crossing experience? I mean, could you imagine if other games did this kind of thing? If each Switch could only support one BotW save and world state
