Yeah, they wasted 30 seconds on footage when the whole point of the video is the guy telling us the story.

Isn’t that what they did though? “they built an AI upscaling algorithm to make the 90s videos a little more presentable for 2020"

That wasn’t the point. I’m sure they would have considered AI upscaling regardless, but no matter what you’re aiming for clearly you want to start with the best possible quality material. The AI upscale might have looked twice as good had they had the original video to upscale from.

Now playing

The best cutscene in C&C history is still available in high quality though

You’re an asshole for making me use 119 of my hard-earned Spanfeller herbs upvoting you and making me purchase 1,000 Spanfeller herbs + 150 BONUS Spanfeller herbs to refill my Spansack wallet balance so I could reply and tell you you’re an asshole.

32,000 gems for $49.99! For less than 50 things, you’re getting 32 thousand things! I once gave two things for one thing and thought that was good, this blows the top off the thing trading ratio!

I always just got an envelope that could have anything from $1 to $100 in it.

Bummer. Mobile games are just so

Im pretty sure when I was young, after I mowed someone’s lawn theyd give me a box I couldnt open until hours later as a reward..  I dunno where you lived..

The FOMO model made Destiny a chore rather than a game. I’ve pretty much given up on the game after this month because of it, despite being a very invested player since the D1 alpha. I want to be able to come in and out when I please, not be tethered to the game at all times because I’ll miss something forever. I have

Same reason Blockbuster didn’t think streaming was going anywhere. Arrogance.

I dunno, the store I buy all my Pathfinder and Magic stuff is the same place I go every week to play them, so a Gamestop that’s also a perpetual LAN party might work.

Honestly a coffee shop geared towards gamers, instead of work from “home” office folks, is somewhere I might actually hang out. I’m not sure GameStop is the brand I trust for this, but the idea has some merit at least.

Talking to my Aunt, I’ve learned that some people can’t tell the difference between 2d and 3d cartoons.  They think they’re all the same.  I really don’t get it.   I think it’s just ignorance to be honest.

I’d love for Starbucks to buy out Gamestop. They could reopen the stores as Starbucks cafes that also have game stations and sales.

The disconnect in their strategy between “these are things people like to do” and “these are things people will want to do in a gamestop” is mind-boggling.

It certainly looks like a game that traveled through time...from 2004.

Samurai Jack, the popular Cartoon Network series that recently received a much-needed conclusion on Adult Swim, gets its first new video game adaptation since 2004 this summer.

So many people mentioning this game says it “captures the look”. Is there something wrong with their/my eyes or are we looking at completely different trailers?

I’d disagree on it capturing the look. Graphically it looks way too... solid? Like you would expect more cel-shading and at least an attempt to recreate the art of the television series. Just based on those clips the game looks cheap and bland. Better than previous outings? Perhaps. But what you would want from a
