If I see a bunch of people hammering nails through their dicks I don’t need to join in to know it’s not for me.

“Sweet! That duping exploit worked! Now let’s...”
What kind of market crash could Destiny 2 encounter? Some sort of bug that requires resetting player profiles to a backup version because their investments were wiped? Ludicrous!
Sounds a lot like a.... Pyramidion scheme to me.
I suspect a missed merge is likely. The fix for the last issue either never made it into todays cluster or when they were merged whoever reviewed it didn’t catch it getting overwritten by something else.
Could be as simple as merging in a bad branch. Team A is working on hotfix 123 that includes the “don’t delete players’ stuff” fix. Team B is working on hotfix 321 that fixes some random “players can glitch through this wall” exploit. Last week, hotfix 123 went out. This week, hotfix 321 went out, but didn’t include…
Congratulations! You have correctly identified that I am stating my opinion on something. Well done. A+ reading comprehension. Have a cookie.
I am so over the whole concept of “games as service.”
Aye, the flying was a blast, and the combat wasn’t that bad either. Hell, I even liked the story, it wasn’t up to Bioware’s usual standards but it was still miles ahead of what other Looter Shooters I’ve played had. I really do hope they figure out the rest of the whole thing...
The wide gap between how slick flying/combat felt and almost every other aspect of the game was so disappointing... I’ll still give it another go yeah
It sends the exact same message that actual Christmas lights on an actual house sends in February.
They killed an actively successful franchise and diverted all the resources to this because it fit their “games as a service” vision. If they were willing to do all that for the vision they’ll probably keep this thing on life support longer than a gold-digger waiting for a prenup to expire.
I think the sentiment is more of “they don’t give a shit” more than any impact on the actual game.
Somehow they will miss
Something something eat ass ea
yeah, eat a dick ea.
It’s a bit of a shame to see him go to Blizzard. I feel like his creativity will be stymied by the likes of Activision. Microsoft, on the other hand, seems to be less heavy handed with their first party studios than they used to be.
I’m a bit more interested in Diablo 4 now, so there’s that.
Yep. All they had to do was...literally nothing to it. And they still managed to fuck it up.
Honestly, the most egregious part of this whole debacle is the over-writing of the original product. It blows my mind that anyone thought that would be a good idea, or that it would be well-received.
