They do where I live.
They do where I live.
My public library card.
I still have my Wii plugged in, although it’s really only a glorified Gamecube at this point; I wanted to play some of my Gamecube games, and they looked better on my TV when I was using the Wii.
When I play Wii games now, I use my Wii U, which is also still plugged in, since I transferred all my Wii data to the Wii U.
The possibility of a female Dragon definitely seems like a dumb change to me that undermines the point of the Dragon Reborn in the series’ narrative. People in Wheel of Time fear the Dragon Reborn because he’s a male channeler who’s destined to go insane, so people don’t want him to be reborn. That aspect gets lost…
Yeah, there’s pretty much no way they spend a season on each book. The Eye off the World is one of the few books (possibly the only one) that should require a whole season, because it introduces most of the main characters, and many of the core concepts need to be explained. The Eye of the World also simply has more…
I don’t think the PS3 ever became a great console. While my PS3 library is definitely weakened because I bought some multiplatform games of its era on the Xbox 360, I wouldn’t say that its games are nearly as good as any other Playstation console (excluding the PS5, which hasn’t been out for very long), even if I add…
One of my joys of playing Super Mario 64 in this collection was playing the game with the fantastic Switch Pro Controller and not the terrible Nintendo 64 controller, so I’ll pass (not that I could buy the Switch’s N64 controller, anyway).
I’m surprised there isn’t more hate for Subway.
I’ll just reply to this about four years later: I said that Skies of Arcadia shouldn’t be here since it was originally a Dreamcast game, by which I meant it should be considered among the best Dreamcast games. I consider Resident Evil 4 to be a Gamecube game since that’s the system it originally appeared for. That it…
How not to get a good night’s sleep:
1. Have a new baby.
During this Hunter x Hunter hiatus, Kentarou Miura, author of Berserk, literally died, and he is still going to have a new chapter out before Yoshihiro Toagashi.
Anyway, I think it’s getting to the point that Togashi should just collaborate with an artist and write the series. It doesn’t seem like Togashi is physically…
I didn’t know about his injured back. I still think it’s possible that he was burnt out on Slam Dunk, though, seeing as how Inoue did not return to continue the series. An injured back and burn-out are not mutually exclusive.
It ends with a loss, and an epilogue that lists the main characters’ failures. It’s very unsatisfying. My impression is that the series should have covered all three of Sakuragi’s years at high school, but Inoue was burned out and chose to prematurely end everything so he could work on something else.
Maybe the film can have an ending that isn’t abysmal. I love the manga, but it has one of the worst endings of any manga I’ve read.
I like a lot of Modern Vintage Gamer’s videos. He has a lot of technical knowledge on the workings of consoles and software, and I find it very interesting as someone with very little hacking experience.
I don’t think the issue is about who deserves the profits more, as it’s fairly clear that the people at Disney/ Marvel Studios have done a lot to make the films successful and have earned much of the money. The issue is that Disney is paying the original creators less than peanuts, if they even bother to pay them at…
He could have chosen to be a better person than his mother, but he decided to be even worse than her, instead.
I saw the game look better than it does in these screenshots on my Switch. These colours look horrible.
I’m happy to prove your headline false by saying it’s what I hoped for—I despise mid-life console upgrades. I didn’t want anything like the New 3DS, which I sure as hell didn’t buy (and I definitely won’t shell out a couple hundred bucks on a slightly better Switch, either). My fear is that Nintendo will make a…
On the other hand, if Nintendo started selling ROMs of their own games (at, say, Virtual Console prices), I bet they would make far, far more than $50 a month.
