He mentions Fire Emblem briefly, as well as how the designers do not give  the true hit percentages, since a 90% hit chance in the series is more like 99% in practice.

All I have to say is that I loved it when Wedge came back.

Can’t say I agree about the prequel having a solid story. Its plot is executed so poorly and ineffectively that I’d just call it bad.

Whatever. While I find some glitches like these neat, I can’t say I’m at all interested in watching these speedrunners play the game. I’d much rather play the game myself and go through all the dungeons; I wouldn’t even want to skip most game if I could, since why would I want to avoid everything I find fun about

I’m okay with the addition, but Byleth is one of my least favourite Fire Emblem protagonists and I think any of the other house leaders would have been stronger additions (Edelgard, given her popularity, makes the most sense). I’m also slightly annoyed that another gender-variable character is default male again.

I’d watch a modern-day slavery show...if it was about the slaves joining together in a bloody uprising and slaughtering all the racist slave owners. Like Django Unchained, except in modern times.

I’m another white guy, but I’m cool with playable female characters. Many of my favourite games have female protagonists (Super Metroid, Final Fantasy VI, Trails in the Sky, and so on), and even I get tired of playing a generic white dude yet again (no offence, Link, but I’ll be much more excited for the Breath of the

I’m still annoyed that Nintendo had a bunch of playable generic Toads instead of Peach in New Super Mario Bros. U.

I’m still not sure if it’ll actually be good, but whatever. I’m not going to be playing the game until it reaches bargain bin prices, anyway.

Another year, another batch of Oscar nominations I don’t care about.

I like that the Vita is low, as I avoided that system its entire lifespan because every single game for it that intrigued me was eventually released on Sony’s consoles or PC (except Persona 4 Golden, where I already owned the older version on PS2). However, this list is absurd with how many iterations of various

I’ve heard Legend of Mana’s OST and think it has some good tracks. Listening to the soundtrack is probably the closest I’ll get to playing Legend of Mana. Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if I liked it more than Secret of Mana, if only because I’ve long held the position that Secret of Mana isn’t actually a good

Counterpoint: most reviewers seem to use a review scale of 50-100, so anything below 50 seems to be below the bottom third of the review scale.

Truly, small text is my least favourite development of this generation. It’s totally nonsense in a game like Fire Emblem: Three Houses when most of the text box isn’t even been used (and it’s a game made for a portable system!). How about using fewer words to fit the text on screen instead of using smaller font words?

I think people can be a bit overly sensitive to spoilers. If a spoiler actually ruins the experience of a book, movie, video game, or whatever, then said book, movie, video game, or whatever probably isn’t that good to begin with.

Of course, I think there are some twists that should be protected, if possible (there’s

A simple rebuttal: nah, it’s bad and does little to remind me of the Final Fantasy games I enjoy.

In more articulate words, though, Final Fantasy XIII is bad because its story is bad and its gameplay is repetitive and little more than an extended tutorial. It has its positives, like great music and solid visuals (and

Actually, almost everybody points out that Final Fantasy X is also very linear. The author of this article mentioned that, other articles have mentioned that, and several people in the comments here have mentioned that.

I wasn’t aware that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was a backlash game. It seemed fairly well received when it came out. It has nothing on the negativity that Mighty No. 9 produced (or probably even Shenmue 3), as far as big-name Kickstarter games go.

Also, I think you undersell how weak Mass Effect 3's ending is

I’m Canadian, and I don’t know anyone here who would trade our flawed system for the garbage that Americans have to deal with.

I’ve never had issue with Vagrant Story’s story. Its opening is solid, and I think its best parts all occur at the end. My personal issues with Vagrant Story have always related to its gameplay, which I cannot stand.
