1st Gear: This is an excellent example of how stupid American politics have become. Driving an electric vehicle shouldn’t be a political issue. Divesting from fossil fuels to preserve the environment shouldn’t be a political issue.

Most performance road bicycles cost more than this. $8,000 is a killer deal for a well maintained, relatively rare, soon to be extinct, running performance vehicle in unmodified guise. These were made in small numbers - less than 2000 total, I believe. For a vehicle of this caliber, it’s a great price.

What you have to understand about Conservatism is at its core, it is about preserving an in-group protected by the law but not bound by it, and an out-group bound by the law but not protected by it.

This EV won’t work for me because the commute to my job is 20 miles each way and once I get there they don’t give me enough money to buy this car.

I’ll be patiently waiting in the comments for someone to come say how this EV won’t work for them because their commute is 600 miles each way in the snow towing a 12,000lb trailer.
