If the name of the system will prevent you from buying or enjoying it, you seem to have a lot of problems that are non-gaming related.

No, you pay $60 for a big AAA game based on a very famous IP that has a full single-player story mode that has fully voice acted cinematics. You also get a multiplayer mode to play through with your friends, and will get FREE updates with brand new characters as they come out.

You pay $60 for the privilege to play the game, and then some people can choose to spend their money on cosmetic items, which in turn probably helps keep the content updates the devs will be releasing monthly containing new missions and heroes free. So...yeah. Hope that’s okay with you, boss.

you arent paying for the privilege of paying extra money but that is a very edgy and cynical take on the game, it would also be accurate if you ignored literally everything about the game.
