Obligatory:
That’s a Boardwalk PCB, steel plate, and sound dampening foam from MKUltra.click in a Klippe case from ... somewhere. I can’t remember who made that one. The keycaps are Matt3o DSA Elvish
The Preonic (which is used on this build), is my all-time favorite custom keyboard. I love it, so I have acquired a collection...
He should get a CB radio so he can talk to other car beds.
WOW Narita Boy!
I remember about 5(?) years ago when I first saw a video about it. The guy who made the video was really doing it as an exercise in doing interesting effects and wasn’t really considering it as a video game, but enough people urged him to do it that it became a game project. Wild to see it actually…
Yeah this author is a fuckwit. There has been talk of wanting to put solar panels in space for a LONG time, since blue spectrum energy is way more efficient in transfer of power than what get filtered through atmo. Also, solar panels here on good ol’ dirty Earth get dusty, which reduces efficiency, which then requires…
I mean, no one can get one anyway... *shrug*
There are a few spots, specifically the bartender and when Rick is dancing on the stage but shot from a distance, that the faces look like N64 GoldenEye textures, but overall it’s pretty impressive!

Yes, it really is. I think I was 8 when I first played and it was definitely well within my abilities then.
I played this as a kid, having loved the cartoon. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being a fantastic game filled with all kinds of excellent platforming, music, and character design.
The controls are excellent and responsive, on par with Mario in terms of how “good” they feel, which shouldn’t be too…
2005 Mac Mini was also my first, especially once it was dual-bootable with Bootcamp and I could run Windows to do the stupid stuff that work needed me to do.
The OS was a revelation, at the time. It didn’t constantly pop up windows and notifications about whatever bullshit it wanted to tell me about (remember, this was…
The Citadel connection is one of the deeper trenches of this whole fiasco that I think will end up being focused on a lot more as the situation develops. I really hope that this ends up being used by Elizabeth Warren as a way to show that stock shorts are too volatile and gets them banned. Sucks in the short term for…
My friends and I have been laughing about “white jorts guy” for a week now.
The thing is, driving in this game is still enjoyable in a way. It’s a beautiful game if you have the PC rig to crank the settings. It’s kinda fun driving around at night in a wild neon sci-fi setting. However, since driving is also kinda shit, I tend to use the quick-travel stations as much as possible.
Yes, I have a two in the game myself, and there are some super expensive models I haven’t bought. The wild thing is they are faster and handle way better than almost every damn car in the game. Car driving in this game is good and terrible.
Driving 1st person view is awful. The windshield , dashboard, and front driver…
See my comment to Kawaii-Gon about Mandarin in this film. Also, I HIGHLY suggest learning Mandarin. It’s a gorgeous language when used by someone with a delicate knowledge of its tonal quality. It’s also quite efficient in some ways, as it ignores all forms of conjugation in favor of contextual grammar.
It’s beautiful…
It’s not contemporary Mandarin, no, but it’s more like what we would see as “fantasy novel medieval English”. A lot of kung fu novels, which are still wildly popular in China, use this type of language.
When I was studying Chinese in college this movie was released and I begged our professor to use it as material,…
