Oh, yeah I get that. I wasn’t calling it a “5 Dollar Game” , but I can see how it would feel that way. What I was getting at in my original post was that 5 dollars, and more realistically 10 dollars, is where I consider it worth starting up and then never finishing because something else took my time or I just didn’t

I guess it really depends on game styles, too. I’m not super into FPS games in general, but if they’re really well crafted (Borderlands, Destiny 1&2, Warframe, etc) I will play them for many many hours. Everyone seems to be freaking out that I placed a monetary value to when I would consider playing the game, but it’s

Hmmm... maybe I’ll check it out then.  The only reason I only want to pay 5 bucks is because I know it’s mainly a PvP game after the story is done. I despise PvP, personally, so it would only be a 20 hour game, at the most, for me.

Yes, I have heard this.  If it’s on Xbox Game Pass I’ll look at it, but I not really interested in buying it unless it’s like 5 bucks.

To be honest, I don’t have much skin in the game regarding Titalfall, since I never played either one... but I can say this seems really bad.  It sounds like he’s admitting that they’re expecting it to flop, EA forced them to monetize it, and they’re just trying to lean into the “this is what we wanted to make”

JESUS.  You just made me get all hot ‘n’ steamy with the idea of Destiny gunplay + Monster Hunter weapon crafting.  I would play the shit out of that game.  Warframe is close... but still maybe a bit too random.

Wheezy mentions this further down, but I agree with him: progression in Destiny endgame is this cliff that drops off abruptly and is intended to keep players in the endgame to grind toward the “correct” levels of their endgame multiplayer content. It’s not really my thing, anymore. I feel like I spend every week

I never realized there were other servers!  Did they release the server code at some point?  I thought they had totally refused to do that.

My friends and I were at PAX South this last weekend and met Cory outside the hotel next to the convention center.  He was so cool and approachable!  My friend was desperately controlling her fangirl response.  We walked away and she realized she hadn’t taken a photo with him.  We convinced her to go back and he was

One of the things about PSO BB on Schthack that has always bugged me was that a while ago it totally disappeared. The totally online nature of it really worries me. I love how crisp everything looks compared to the Gamecube (since I have to convert from analog composite video to HDMI), but losing all access to it

We’ve talked a lot about PSO in the past, so I wanted to let you now I recently purchased a GCN and copy of PSO so I can play again.  I was playing on Schthack, but I didn’t like that all the quests and everything was exposed immediately.  I’m not sure why.  It’s fun and I’ll probably play it again, but GCN is bae.

I , too, am cautiously optimistic. I really think they were looking to scrap or seriously delay Destiny 3 to prevent splitting their playerbase into a new IP.

Their new slow release schedule is proving to be a better way to get content into people’s hands, as long as they can make at least every other season a little

I don’t think Season 2 of Kakegurui is out on Netflix in the US, but Season 1 is!

I liked The Division when it was released, though it was a bit thin. The continued patching and improvements turned into an entirely different game, which was amazing and made the game even more fun.

I’m interested to see how they implement those features in Division 2.

HELL YES HAWK THE SLAYER

I played this game 1.5 times (the first time I tried I realized I had a shitty character and just restarted).

I freaking love this game.  It has so many layered and interesting mechanics... plus, throwing people is fun.

I used to be all about PBT, but ABS has really grown on me. The color palette is far deeper and there are way more manufacturers and profiles. Thin PBT is awful and it’s getting more prevalent.

Signature Plastics has newly retooled SA PBT molds, though, which are even thicker than their old ABS molds.  Color palette

As a keyboard enthusiast (10 hand-made keyboards in my collection), I say this price is outrageous. The license cost pushed it up too high.
The most recent sets from well known designers are in the 160 range and are double-shot injected ABS, look far better, cover more layouts, and have more options for legends and

I stopped playing Ubisoft games because of the aggressive markers and helpers everywhere.  I just couldn’t handle the information overload.  I felt like I had TOO MUCH to do, all the time.  There was too much to read everywhere.  The stripped down UI and “natural” mechanics of RDR2 feels better, to me.

This was an insta-buy.  There was only 3 left in stock when I got to it, so now there’s probably none.
