I watched Hunters till the embarrasing bitter end. But yes I concur, Prime’s a notch above Netflix. It kills me that when I finally engage with a NF show they come and kill it. I still can’t get over the axing of Travelers. Man I really loved that show.

The TV landscape (blasted heath/cursed lands/desolation of Smaug) is getting more and more littered with forever unfinished stories. That sucks for viewers. Leaving aside the question of the relative merits of each cancelled show (that’s about nine hundred valid and fun debates), it’s a brutal reminder that creatives…

As I understand it, the unions don’t support consumer action (yet) because it could lead to more cancellations of in-progress shows.

Just like in Netflix. Still, I have more faith in Prime than the red envelopes company.

This was a great adaptation. The studios will return to find the audience found something else to do besides streaming and TV. They’re cutting their own throats.

You know, I was thinking about this, as (rightly) so many YouTube channels are highlighting the strikes. Not to be too Keynesian about it, but I wonder if we could work up to a cancel day. There’s obviously appetite for content (durr, this site among many) and I’m in full solidarity with the SAG-AFTRA strike, and now…

That’s fucking hard core. I had a hawk leave a 4" piece of a nest on our porch rail once. Pretty sure he ate them all before he flew away, but I still used an 18' long golf ball retriever, fully extended, to knock the remains off the porch and into the bushes.

I worked at Boston market  am still waiting to get paid it's been 2 months now there doing the same thing all over Florida 

In Florida  we having the same problem  there closing our stores down and not even paying us I have staff that hasn't been paid from since may and I keep getting the run around  from all the head bosses when it's time to ask for pay kurpa Patel is the one in charge of financial and this lady won't pick up or answer…

The edges of this bagel do not look microwaved. Are you sure they don’t have a toaster hiding somewhere back there? Are their microwaves like the toaster ovens at Subway? Was this toasted and assembled offsite and then microwaved before being handed to the customer?  That looks like a fresh toasting IMO.
