“We, uh, mistakenly gave the original dollar amount taken in pesos instead.”
It’s almost as if we shouldn’t let these people carry guns, if they’re so easily butt-hurt. Specifically cops, but also I just mean Americans.
Maybe, just maybe, when you serve a bullshit warrant, find nothing, and are either stealing and lying about it or too stupid to count money properly, you deserve a little bit of humiliation.
“We’re not corrupt, we’re just staggeringly incompetent!”
“emotional distress, embarrassment, ridicule, loss of reputation and humiliation”
He’s kinda hard to miss.
It’s a real shame that officers Shawn D. Cooley, Justin Cooley, Michael D. Estep, Shawn D. Grooms, Brian Newland, Lisa Phillips, and Randolph L. Walters, Jr. had video of their pointless invasion and theft of Afroman’s money spread all over the net. I certainly would hate for the names of Shawn D. Cooley, Justin…
RE: filming cops, some states have those laws, yes, but the Supreme Court has affirmed (I think a 5th district court’s ruling) that such laws are un-Constitutional. They have to be challenged in every circuit, of course, but ever since that ruling, it’s a slam dunk to win.
And RE: filming someone breaking in to your…
If you can’t film without consent, then all security camera footage in that state could be argued to be obtained illegally and not allowed in a trial.
One thing I’m sure that we can all agree on is that if you are being mocked on the internet the one sure-fire way to get it to stop is to sue the person who is making fun of you. That trick always works.
Obviously this is a state-by-state thing, and I know nothing about Ohio’s specific laws, but presumably if you can legally justify a “Stand your ground” law that allows you to shoot anyone who enters your home, then filming intruders who enter your home and releasing that footage should be even more protected.
But, of…
They were in his house illegally, robbed him and illegally arrested him. He used footage he owns. Not sure how the cops have any case here at all. I hope he wins the countersuit also, fuck those piece of shit cops.
Afroman is a damn delight of a man, fuck everyone involved in that raid. They deserve the humiliation.
Suing him for violating THEIR privacy? Does anyone have a right to privacy on private property that has security cameras?
the Barbara Streisand effect is a wonderous thing.
When he got to the point where he asked if they found any kidnapped people in his suit pockets and then his CD case I just about lost it lol
Ha ha ha ha ahhh ha ha. Poor babies.
ACAB
I saw thew music video LMAO and you can’t really make out any of the cops faces. I would think this would get laugh out of court.
