I’m up for more Constantine, but I do miss Zed, Chas, and Manny.

There’s a photo of the Overlook Hotel on the desk of the psychologist Jake talks to in one of the trailers.

There aren’t any significant links between The Dark Tower and The Mist in the books. Big connections with The Stand and Salem’s Lot though.

Adopted.

The Aether was killing Jane, so there’s no discrepancy with her being able to handle it because she wasn’t, and she certainly wasn’t able to harness its power like Quill did. Also, the Aether was not in stone form. The other stones have been in different types of casing. Its fluid form might have been its “casing” to

The MCU’s a polytheistic place, bud.

She didn’t really hold it as much as it possessed her though.

In Thor 2 they’re explaining to Jane how they’re trying to get the Aether out of her and study it and she quips, “Oh, so tesselated superpositions in a quantum field” [or something] which gets a look of confusion from the magical doctor studying her.

It’s played up a lot more on Agents of Shield where there have been a lot of interactions with earthbound Asgardians who get caught up in human affairs.

They’re gods... right up until they meet the Hulk.

May as well watch the show. Those last 2 books will never be completed by GRRM, so you’re not getting his ending there either.

I think Rob is seriously overstating the difficulty of getting the tone of a Fantastic Four movie right. Both Guardians of the Galaxy movies were, tonally, right about where the FF needs to be, as was The Force Awakens. The problem is that Fox, now, is making these movies mostly out of spite, and doesn’t really care

Elba was so good on “The Office”

I find it interesting that she’s wearing what looks like Venom when in the 616 universe MJ hates Venom to the point where she forced Peter to burn his replica Venom costume.

Spinneret of the Renew your vows-verse, AKA MJ Parker, is growing concerned about the drain on Peter when she uses his powers via Regent Tech. So, she finds a friend who’ll help her gain some powers, including a nice new suit.

The old Jessica Drew costume was usually dumped on because it had big yellow areas specifically highlighting her boobs and groin. Not uncommon of course with female superheroes, but her costume is usually cited as being particularly exploitative.

When Cindy Moon was first introduced in Spider-Verse—a girl who just happened to also be bitten by the same spider as Peter seconds after,

Huh? If you’re referring to the controversial cover, it was the pose that upset people. Also how the costume was painted on, as depicted in that costume.

Ashley was known as “Spider-Bitch.” Oh, comic books.

I’d have to go with Mayday as #1. She had, to this point, the longest running female-led series in Marvel history. Her first title reached #100. With the current market, outside of crazy Legacy numbering gimmicks, I don’t foresee any title making it to #100 again.
