There is a rumor of all Spider-Man films coming to Disney+. To the point that some people thought it might have been announced with the trailer as a way for people to “catch up” before No Way Home.

The most interesting thing about this, which will have felt obvious to the writers of this film but will utterly confuse audiences, is that these returning actors are all playing different versions of the same characters they played in their original films.

I’m wondering if instead of Tobey and Andrew we get a Miles and... what the hell, how about Nic Cage Spider-Man Noir.

It seems like, given that the Iron Spider suit has been damaged in their fight, the good Doctor has somehow found a way to at least strip off some of the nanite armor material and bond it with his own creations.

I think its more likely that this Ock is just a variant, and not the EXACT same one from the prior film,

“You’re not Peter Parker,” Ock says

“When you botched that spell where you wanted everyone to forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, we started getting some visitors,”

Ken Leung fits right in with the recent wave of casting, with his career Venn Diagram overlapping with both Lost and Star Wars

And here I clicked on the article to say that no one could possibly live up to animated Iroh. This is pretty much perfect casting.

Literal perfect casting. Only better choice would be Mako himself. I swear, Hollywood, you’ve almost got this whole “casting” thing down. Before you know it, I swear you’ll have mastered “writing” and “respecting your employees” as well! :P

The way his career has really taken off in the past few years seems like he is becoming the next Brian Cranston. I hope he really gets to use his full range of dramatic to comedic as he plays Uncle Iroh, who really is the definition of avuncular.

Appa is now Iroh. Cool.

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee is great! He was also in the Mandalorian season 2, and he’s an avid cosplayer IRL.

Who wouldn’t like to see ‘Muppets Alice in Wonderland’

Based on the trailer, this seems to be very similar to that, just retelling of the Haunted Mansion ride instead of a book.

I think it’s because they never really found a replacement puppeteer for Rizzo after bumping out Steve Whitmire.

It’s probably the best Trek show since DS9.

Now playing

Muppets have been down with the macabre for quite a while. Puppets in general have always had a dark side, resentful of their controllers in an almost somnambulistic fashion.

They did do The Muppets’ Wizard of Oz as a TV movie back in 2005.

More or less. If I recall correctly, on the original Muppet Babies he was officially a “weirdo.”

Gonzo is canonically a “whatever” I am pretty sure.
