This isn’t anything remotely close to the civil rights movement and you know it. Just because you don’t like Hitler doesn’t have to mean you support Stalin.

Do you think jumping up and down on a bystander’s car who happens isn’t intentionally violent behavior? What about the Trump rally in Chicago that had to be cancelled due to violence? I guarantee you if somebody with a Trump sign walked through a Bernie rally he would be attacked.

There’s a certain group of those people who aren’t protesting. They are trying to instigate violence.

Protesting him is not silencing him. Shutting down roads into a small town (which by the way is them main route to the hospital, thank God nothing bad happened) to stop the event is trying to silence him. It’s a fucking hard thing to make Trump a sympathetic character, but some of those moronic protesters are trying

the company had to scramble to produce a non-functioning, static concept car, costing $2m.

It’s sort of funny, but I never knew any songs from Kanye - I figured he was some washed up reality star dickhead that’s always in the news. Then in the past few weeks I’ve heard people claiming what a talent he is. The first music I’ve heard from Kanye were the two videos posted here, which I gave a listen. Both are

I did that twice in college. Part drunk and part asleep, I walked out of my dorm, pissed in the hall stairway, went back in and went back to sleep. The other time I started to piss in my roommates’ closet before he grabbed me and threw me out the door. I actually remember each time, but really no recollection why I

I get that, but it’s far more detrimental and extreme than “sharing a connection”. Humans are groupish, and by instinct tend to pick a group and find an out-group to hate. “All the evil bastards in the out-group are sub-human and intent on destroying everything that is just and right in the world.”

I find it really bizarre that people self-identify with political parties. It’s about as logical as being a sports fan or brand loyal. If people voted on policy issues rather than party loyalty, you’d probably see more educated voting.

“strawman”

Jezebel cracks me up - for being a “feminist” site, they sure do lay on the neurotic, screaching, emotional basket case, gossip mongering female stereotype pretty thick.

If you truly believe that you’re being “terrorized” by some random internet commenter, and believe the guy is a “paid troll” (come on, we all know a giant chunk of people are adamant about their right to carry guns and need no money from the NRA to rant about it), you should really seek out a mental health specialist

I’m sure he was just trying to beat the morning commuters.

I’m shocked at all the outrage on this decision. This is science, folks -the policy is not made by some Neanderthal who makes stuff up for the sake of being a bigot. If the statistics say that certain lifestyles are a risk, then who among this group would sign off on a policy knowingly exposing patients to higher

Medicine must be run by statistics, not politics or feelings. If the FDA did the math and says it's a risk, then you can't risk people's lives for the sake of not offending somebody.

Totally agree - that’s why I said “might”. It’s hard to know what would be the outcome of leaving Saddam’s network in place, which essentially terrorized people into submission. Maybe we’d end up with somebody worse, maybe sectarian war in Iraq was inevitable. Or hell, maybe an intact Iraq would have resulted in

There was evidence, otherwise there would not have been sanctions. During the crisis, Saddam would not allow the inspectors to continue their work, which is why the issue escalated so many times to the Security Council. Had Saddam allowed inspections to continue as set out by the resolutions, there would have been no

If I could go so far as to ask you to write the definitive history of the Gulf Wars, maybe you can enlighten me. Clearly all these policy analysts and historians are full of unnecessary information and heretical nuance. All we need to render judgement on history and people is your completely informed and indisputable

Great! I’ll send the historians your way. We need to make sure they get your unadulterated version of events to make sure everybody falls in line with the correct dogma.
