If I was somebody like Elon Musk, with more cash than I knew what to do with, I'd start collecting genetic material from world changing people - Hitler, Mao Zedong, Nikolay Tesla, George Washington, Ramses III (not sure if there's a mummy of him), Queen Elizabeth I, etc. Then clone them, and sell the embryos to people

Pinto's sploding gas tanks.

Dances with Aliens was an extravaganza, but a shallow, schlocky one. It had all the prerequisite stereotypes - douchebag corporate guy, asshole military dude, and cute, innocent, blameless cat-people. If he would have explored some sense of grey area it would have been far more interesting. For instance, present the

I was going to make a snide comment about it being V6...but then I remember my '87GT only had 225HP. Your V6 has 305.

Finally! It's about time. I'll sleep better knowing that the $150,000 I have saved in my gizmodo commenting account is safe.

Wow. You're really smart.

Let's face it. iPad is the only tablet that matters right now. Android tablet apps suck because developers will focus on iPhone, iPad, and Android phones. Not Android tablets, because nobody has them.

Still, there's something special about seeing Saturn's rings for the first time, exploring the craters of the moon, and having 1000 year old photons hit your eye. I always get gasps when I show visitors the rings of Saturn. I get it though - I kept upgrading my scope and still am unable to resolve spiral galaxies

Urgent fixes:

I work for a company that develops cancer treatment technology, and would hail the day that a huge advancement like this can be realized. I personally know people who suffer from cancer, and have died from it. It's good to remember that those evil insurance companies, corporations, and hospital administrators that

You could argue that many things are necessary for the prosperity of citizens. Communication, transportation, etc. But it wouldn't make sense to have "the people" own those things. Otherwise our world would be one, giant, miserable, DMV office.

you're right...how does he sleep at night.

Probably jealosy.

Adding a rubberized spray coating wouldn't make it noticably thicker or heavier. I can't imagine anybody likes the aluminum back, it looks like crap after minimal use unless you put an ugly and awkward cover on it. I get it that they want to sell covers, but really, they make the iPad less comfortable in the hand. A

I wish they would get rid of the aluminum back, and go with a rubberized back. That way you could eliminate the back side protector and just go with the smart cover. I hate the scratching noise the iPad makes when you lay it on a granite countertop.

Laptop keyboards also display symbols on the top of the letter, which is ugly. Since Apple's autocorrect is awful with caps, when you're typing you really need to know whether the letter you type is caps or not, otherwise you peck out an entire sentence and have to go back and edit the beginning of sentences,

better front facing camera, lighter, edge to edge screen, more comfortable form factor (the sharp edges aren't real friendly to the hand), and anti-glare screen. also fix the damn keyboard, it should display lower case and all caps in the appropriate mode. how it has lasted this way so long is inexplicable to me.

Right, because we all know how well the French Revolution worked out.

I hope there's still quite some research going into this. Small, safe, nuclear powerplants would change the world, providing huge quantities of clean electric power.

I'm going to piss and moan about how expensive gas is, then do absolutely nothing to change any of my current driving habits.
