Presumably the OP said Republican to mean right-leaning on those issues rather than card-carrying member of the current GOP clusterfuck.

Now that you mention it Alison Pill looks a lot more like Joni Mitchell than Taylor Swift, and more than she looks like Carole King.
She posted a picture of her self with Chick-fil-a on twitter on that All-the-wingnuts-go-to-Chick-fil-a day in August, so I'm guessing not too much.
Something is wrong when the pictures of people kissing their Emmys look better than pictures of many of the same people kissing their loved ones.
I think you can acknowledge that Mindy Kaling has an uphill battle as a woman of color in Hollywood without implying that critics don't think the show is "relatable" in the same way they did with "Girls" because of her race. The show is trying to create the same constructed fantasy atmosphere as romantic comedies.…
That One Direction video makes me disappointed to see that the trend of using hair gel to make only the hair on the front part of your head stick up as high as you can that was so popular among boys I was in middle school band with is back with a vengeance.
I like Suri and Violet but I'm pretty sure it was Matilda Ledger who trademarked Best Celeb Baby Ever.
Do you even go here?
When I was in Girl Scouts there were yearly father/daughter dances and mother/daughter dinners. They were both pretty fun before I hit puberty. I'm not sure if this is a tradition with other troops or how they handled single parents - no one in mine had single parents, though many had divorced parents.
I haven't tasted these and I'm sure they're gross but I disagree with your conclusion that there should only be one kind of M&Ms and Oreos because Pretzel M&Ms and frozen Mint Oreos are the best.
Yikes. It's dangerous to frame this as criticizing their right to free speech, because it plays into their hands and makes people sympathetic to them who otherwise wouldn't be. It's good to criticize the irresponsibility of their ideas, but unless the venue is somewhere publicly funded like a library I think debating…
I'm not so much irritated by the point that grown women shouldn't behave like children as much as the implication that THIS kind of consumerism is bad and for kids whereas THAT kind of consumerism is good and for adults. That Banana Republic is OK but Modcloth isn't. Also: "Instead of moping around about not having…
Dumping my boyfriend, there is no hope left in the world.
How do you mean "more than style"? Do you mean are they functional as rainboots? Then the answer is yes. They're also pretty comfy despite the rubber heel.
I have those boots too! I get at least three remarks every time I go out in them.
This happened to me with my first boyfriend (also 2.5 years.) He texted me to check my e-mail where there was a breakup letter waiting for me. I lied and told him I couldn't get into my e-mail because I was at a friend's house so I could at least force him to do it over the phone.
I've been guilty of doing this, but only if it's a guy I only went out with once and he's not a member of my group of friends (i.e. I don't have to see him again.) Unless he actually asks me out again it just feels less weird to say nothing than to say "no thanks, wasn't for me" as though he was a flavor of ice cream…
"Offended" comes in different degrees. I was mostly being tongue-in-cheek.
Personally I find the pretension of decorating an empty box to make it look like you're the sort of person who reads old books a lot more offensive than the actual destruction of the books.
She does specifically say "vintage or slightly used" though, so she's not really suggesting anyone buy new books.
